Sometimes people that are around you can tell more than you can. I was on Dextroamphetamine but it caused a roller coaster effect and expecially when I spaced my doses out too long. My employees could tell when the meds were not working and would ask what my problem was or tell me to calm down. I have switched to 20 mg of Adderall XR and itdoes much better . I am going to ask for 30mg the next time i see the doc. It only lasts about 9 hours though. But this is fine since i am back on 9 hour shifts. The big thing is self awareness. I think many times that the behavior of people with ADD/ADDHD is more apparent to others.
