I have been ill for a while now and am thoroughly dissapointed with the medical daoctors I have seen. So here I am hoping someone can give me some much needed help. After having oral sex I developed 3 weeks later some small blemishes around my mouth and sores in my mouth. My lips began to ache especially the bottom one. Then a few months late the top layer of skin on the bottm lip won't grow and is always "gummy and painful" . My gums have small irregular bumps on them and my tip of my tongue hurts. In addition my tongue is alway white especially in the morning. I seem to wake with a cold every morning too. I have had numerous blood tests. I do not have HIV, Syphillis, been treated with Nystatin, myclex, and diflucan for a yeast infection. Acyclovir, steriods and Keflex. Nothing works. I have high "titers" and a positive ANA. I have had grave's disease but no longer. IF anyone has Sjogrens, BMS burning mouth syndrome or any kind of yeast or herpes infection that might fit this diagnosis please help. I have spent thousands of dollars without health insurance on numerous quacks.

After a woman performed oral sex on me: two weeks later i had the mouth sores etc. burning tounge, and an everyday cold. and my eyes burn.

I have been tested for everything: after 1000's in blood tests and over 50 doctors appts. No body has given me any answers.

The "sloughing" of the skin off my bottom lip and the small "bumpy" gum abnormalities are my biggest complaint. My bottom lip aches along withthe tip of my tongue after a long day of work. When I wake in the morning I have a white tongue and my mouth is a slimy mess. Rinsing with Apple cider vinegar seems to cut the slimmyness and relieve the dry mouth somewhat. but that really turns the whole mouth white. I have gone back to the Mycelex and Nystatin. I seem to feel it must be some sort of viral or fungal infection. The antifungal seem to cool off the pain significantly. As for what medical professional I seek next. who knows?

I work as a dental assistant and have seen herpetic ulcers in the mouth.

They look like little red sores with small craters or pits.

Thank you, you have given me some comfort. I have the white tongue and tip burning. I was just tested for HIV and am anxiously awaiting the results. You testing neg. gives me hope. If you have any abdominal pain or irregular looking i.e. (white particles)in your stool. it could be candidiasis, which is a yeast infection. I'm going to a doctor soon. If I get any answers I will post them a.s.a.p.
