Hey guys
I am a mom to seven and have experienced my share during pregnancies of UTIs.
The last few months I have been having a lot of testing done, trying to figure out upper stomach, body aching all day, chills and a pinching to the right of my stomach can be...
No answers. The abdominal US came back fine..and friday I am going in for an endoscopy. ugh..very anxious about that
Well, Sunday night I was up all night with a knife like stabbing in my back.
My Gastro nurse thought it sounded like GB because there was also the pinch to the right of my stomch but its almost central.
WEnt to my general dr and they said my urine had blood and a large bladder infection. After the US they decided it must have set into my kidney and that was the pain i was feeling.
THey put me on Cipro for 7 days...but today is the third day and I feel the same...well, its not a knife but still a pain with discomfort and still burning down there...sry.
Is there a chance I was given this in the past for a UTI and am immune??
Is something better for this??
I am so nervous about what has been going on with me...
The body aching and chills have been since second week in June..
I feel like I harass the drs becuase I DO NOT HAVE TIME to feel like this for one more day..
Any advice for a med that may work quicker would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Perhaps try Amoxicillin. It worked for me back in February. Now it seems I've become sensitive to it, as this time I got flu like symptoms from it. But like I said, you may be fine with it.

The docs have so over-prescribed antibiotics, that a lot of them are no longer working well, and that's why there are now ''super-bugs'' that don't react to them at all:(

Wishing you luck:angel:
