Hi. I'm in Australia. My Mother has suffered with an osteomylitis infection for six yrs now. The infected area has always been from her knee down to her ankle. The orthopaedic surgeon recently performed an op which involved the placement of antibiotic beads within the infected area. This totally backfired, and has caused her leg to break out from the knee down, front AND back now.

Are there any other ops or treatment that can be offered to us, because the doctors here were confident about this one that has failed us.
