Hi.
So not too long ago I had unprotected sex with a guy that I had just met and immediately regretted doing so afterwards, not my proudest moment. Also a couple weeks after that event, I went to a party with my friends and fell asleep on the couch. I was awoken by a guy who had pulled my pants down and was rubbing his bare privates on my bare privates. I immediately freaked out.
I am an extremely worrisome person and always have been since I was little. I hadn't had any symptoms of an STD, but my body just doesn't feel the same like it use to, if that makes any sense. Just in case I decided to use a condom with my new boyfriend. Yeah.. turns out I'm allergic to those things, too. Which makes me even more paranoid to the fact that I might have something. Anyways, one night, since I had been tested for STDs such as HIV, syphilis, Gonorrhea and Chlamydia and they came back negative, my boyfriend decided that he didn't want to use the condoms anymore. A few days afterwards, he got the flu. The headaches, the chills, the night sweats, and I believe he has had a fever. But other than that no other Herpes symptoms. I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid or what, but I read that a lot of people don't have symptoms for the Herpes virus so maybe I had it and didn't know it and in result gave it to my boyfriend. I was wondering if the flu-like symptoms come in any order, such as do they usually come before the lesions or do they come after? And maybe can the flu-like symptoms be the only symptoms?
I'm sorry if this is a bit childish, but I admit, I have moved myself into a frenzy after reading all the Herpes sites.

First of all, they do make latex free condoms if you are allergic to latex. Next, Herpes is a wait and see virus. Yes, the flu like symptons could be Herpes with no outbreak. Many people are realizing that free sex is not good. The results are contracting a life long virus including Herpes and Hpv. The latter seems to do a lot more damage in the long run. Play it safe always and don't let alcohol make you forget what the outcome can bring. A lot of people have found out the hard way. Get tested and see if it shows up or not. be safe and careful too. Also, look up Herpes online and it will tell you everything. Herpes has been around for years and years.
