can you get herpes from a toilet seat
or from touching. I was told that if a person with herpes sits on the toilet and a sore breaks and the fluid or whatever stays on the seat, you can become infected

It is rare but the lit. says it can last on the seat for who knows how long but I believe that it is rare. touching the sore and rubbing eyes or having a cut on your finger, then yes. It can spread through a break in the skin from oral or regular sex. They say that shedding of the virus and the actual outbreak can spread. It's a sneaky virus and we just don't know when it decides to erupt.
