Hi Gals, I was sorry to hear about your BFN!!! But take good care of yourself and pamper yourself, you all deserve it. This journey of TTC can sure be tough but hang in there ok? I wish there was something I could do to take away the hurt but I know that it will be easier with time. I am in the 2nd week of my 2WW and have a feeling I will be joining you soon, since I really have no prego signs. Take care, Marie

Marie,

I sure hope you get better news then the rest of us - you would think one of us would get a positive. AF finally came today and I am not having any cramping or anything and it is real light so it isn't to unbearable. I quite taking my progesterone yesterday after the docs told me my blood test came back negative.

Keep us posted - when can you test?

Marie, my baby sister (who is 30 now), recently conceived after six months of clomid therapy. She didn't have any preg signs until she was 10 weeks along. So, maybe good things will happen to you next week.

Baby dust to you.

Hi Amy, I get to test on March 10th. Thanks for asking. My dr has me d/c the progesterone once the beta comes back negative and I usually have AF about 2-3 days later.
And Mindy, thanks for your words of confidence. It would be nice if this was the one. But dont want to get my hopes up to only have to start over again. Its just too hard sometimes for the let down.
Take Care,
Marie

Marie:
Thanks so much for thinking of us. There is nothing better than coming here for the support and understanding from other women who KNOW what I'm going through. This has been my source for inspiration and I'm hoping that I will have the strength to get through another month.
I'm nervous about my decision because as some of you already know, I'm not telling anyone that I have my hopes up to get pg again this month. As you say, Marie, the let down is so hard to deal with. My dh has assumed that I have given up for a while. I told him I was going on bc until after my sister's wedding in August. I'm not trying to mislead him, I just thought that less worrying by one of us would be better. In fact, (not to give too much information, but here it goes), we BD last night and it was the most "closeness" that we have felt since TTC. I think it did make a difference for him. It was spontaneous and fun and not planned and "scientically correct". I hope you know what I mean--I don't want to gross anyone out with my personal life.
Of coarse, I'm still nervous--I try to tell myself to forget about it. But who can really forget about the possibility of this being "the month".

Anyway, I hope that all of you have good luck this month. I'm scared, anxious, nervous, happy.....once again--the EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER BEGINS!!!!

Well I spoke to soon about AF being light and no cramps - I thought I was dying last night the pain was so bad and it is super heavy. I hope it only lasts a few days. DH has been great and more than understanding. He let me sleep from 4 in the afternoon yesterday and I didn't wake up until 9:30. I think the mental & emotional strain just wore me out.

WIshing all o fyou the best.

Hello gals! Just checking out whats new on the boards today. Amy, sorry to hear that AF has come full force. Is that a side effect from the Fertility/progesterone treatments? I'm just curious because my AF was extremely light this month. I definately had it, but it lasted 2 days, then gone. I was just curious if that was a side effect from the drugs they put in my body!
Anyway, Guess what!? I'm sitting here drinking a Brandy Alexander!! First drink in weeks! I'm thinking about a nice warm jump in the hot tub and some "me time". I haven't done that in a while! You should all take some time for yourselves. I think we've all been through a lot over the past few months and a little R&R is good for the body!! Jodie http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif
