I had a sore that wouldn't heal on my back. The P.A. told me it needed to be removed, so the lesion was cut out yesterday. It was 2.5 cm x 1.5 cm and white in color. The doctor pointed out that although it appeared healed on the outside it had not healed at all by the appearance of the growth. What can be told about a lesion by its color? Size?
