Okay, my boyfriend and I have been trying to get pregnant for only a few weeks. Recently, though, my lower stomach has been cramping and feels uncomfortable every now and then during the day. It has also felt like this after we have had sex the last few day. I took the Depo Provera shot in late March for the first and only time. I've read that it takes a while to get out of your system and was wondering if maybe these feelings of discomfort could be caused by the Depo or a possible pregnancy. As of right now I have no other signs besides the mild discomfort and cramping throughout the day and after intercourse. Any input would be helpful. Thank you!!

Doesnt Depro Provera last for a year?
As embarrassing as it sounds (I have the same problem sometimes to), it may just be constipation, or gas...
Hope you get it all figured out!

i thought that you had to get the depo shot every three months.. which means it only lasts 3 months right?? I would do research and see if it lasts 3 months or a year.. i used depo about 4 years ago may have changed since then??

Hi there, Depo lasts for 3 months, a refresher shot is required every three months. Depo tricks your body into thinking its pregnant so it doesnt let you conceive. Ive just come off the depo, ive been off for 2 months and my body is only now getting back to normal, which is relativelly fast. it takes some people a year or more to get back to normal after the depo. I had alot of symptoms of pregnancy when i was coming off, sore breasts, spotting, cramping etc. test if youre concerned about being preg i would say
