I went through 3 clomid cycles and none took our next step is IVF but this is the question.

Has anyone experienced burning, itching and irritation only after your period? I spoke to my doctor and he said it is probably due to the clomid disrupting the PH balance in my vagina. If this has happened to you please share and what did you do to get rid of this??

I'm sorry I don't have an answer to your question. Instead I have one of my own. I was wondering why you decided to go directly to IVF from clomid. My dr. suggested that if clomid/IUI doesn't work, that I go directly to injectibles/IVF instead of injectibles/IUI.
In my case, the chance of multiples is too high with injectibles and IVF can minimize that possibility. Is there another reason to go to IVF after clomid without trying the IUI or injectables?

An injectable IUI cycle could cost around $3-4000 including meds (8-15% success rate). An IVF cycle is around $12000 with approx 50% success rate. We figured the one time IVF at 50% was better luck than 3 tries at IUI with significantly smaller success rates.

Fortuantely that is one side affect of the clomid I did not experience. However, I think I experienced every other possible one.
