I was due to take a PG test tomorrow 3/4...however being the impatient person that i am i tested on Saturday the 1st. The minute my urin hit the test it turned positive right away. I was totally speachless!!! This is my 6th pregnancy (5 ending in M/C)a test has NEVER turned that quickly. Usually i'm testing the day after my mised period and the positive line is so faint it's questionable...Not this one. This is my 1st pregnancy since the removal of a large septum in my uterus so we have high high hopes. I went to the DR today for blood work an an U/S. She said everything looked great HCG level was 210 and i'm only 13 DPO, my progesterone was 29 thousand and my Estrogen was 105...she likes that to be at 150 so she gave me an estrogen patch. She wasn't worried about my estrogen but since my other levels were so good she wanted to bring that up also. As far as my U/S my lining looked nice and thick and my the blood flow to my uterus was excelent...NO bed rest YIPPE!!!!! I go back Wednesday and Saturday for blood work then again Monday for bloodwork and U/S. By Monday we should be able to see a sack. I'm feeling pretty good the only thing i can really complain about now is my boobs feel like they are on fire (never had that before) and i don't have a cold but my nose feels stopped up. My Dr said that is an early sign of PG b/c of everythng starting to swell..that's weird huh?? Last week i had a feeling i was PG b/c i had a nose bleed, which i never have, and that to is a very early sign. Well i keep you posted and please please say prayers for me. Natural cycle...no fertility drugs. This is my 1st pregnancy since the removal of the septum 8 months ago. I'm praying that everything turns out great. I went to the DR again this morning so i'll post my levels as soon as i get them.

That sounds like great news. I am now officially 5 weeks along (still very early). We had an u/s on Monday to see how many sacs were hanging out and there is just one! Which was a big source of relief. We have an appt. in two weeks to hear the heartbeat....It is still super early but very VERY exciting. Have you been nauseated?

RattyC- we are very close. I'm nauseated at times...looking at food groses me out right now. Are you having any pains how do you feel? i'm not having pains just every now and then a weird feeling like maybe i'm going to start my period then it goes away.

hello all- my levels are still increasing incredibly. yesterday i had an ultrasound (4 weeks 6 days) and she could see the sac and yolk sac. Dr said they looked great. However she put me on bedrest b/c of the blood flow when i'm standing. If it drops off 50% yoor at a higher risk for m/c. mine did not drop off that much maybe 100 points and she said she is doing this just to be precautious. anyone experienced this? what was your outcome?

No i'm not bleeding just the flow to the uterus drops off..not 50% but she still wants me on BR. DId you hear of this before?

Hey Starr N! What is up with that? I haven't even had a test that I think would measure what you are talking about. I am just battling nausea BIG TIME today and wishing for some excuse (like bedrest!) to get out of here (work) today. How did your doctor diagnose the problem? Sounds like she is on top of things. Ratty C- They do the test through vaginal ultrasound. The test the flow while your laying then again while your standing. If it drops off in half while your standing your at higher risk for MC. Mind did not drop off the much but due to my history she wants me on BR. I go again Monday so hopefully i'm back to normal. Besides being nauseated how are you. When and what did you see on your last ultrasound? Yesterday i was 4 weeks 6 days (actually measured 5 weeks 1 day) we were able to see the sack and yold sac which she said looked great.

Yes my DR is very on top of things. The first week i went every other day and i get u/s once a week. i know you are a few days ahead of me but exactly how far are you?

Hey Starr! Well, counting from the first day of my last period I am on the first day of my 7th week. Anyway, my last ultrasound was about 9 days ago and we saw the gestational sac and the perfect little yolk sac. Monday we will go in to hear the heartbeat. After that, I go back to my OB/GYN. I am still on the progesterone suppositories which is a bummer, along with the nausea, sore breasts and overall emotional roller coaster. But everyday we progress without incident is a good day for me!!! Because of my age, the chances of miscarriage were very high for the first couple of weeks (40%!) but so far so good. I had been having horrible nightmares and insomnia--too freaked out to go back to sleep. But the last few nights I have been too tired to be bothered even by bad dreams!
