If you were about to ovulate then you could get preg. But you would have to have really good fertile mucus (like egg whites).

I think you would know if you had it. When you wipe after using the toilet you can see and feel it. For me, the day after ovulation was more dry than the ones before it, do you remember what yours was? If you had sex the day after ovulation, with no fertile mucus, you may not get preg. It doesnt really matter if it was "an inch in" or not, because sperm comes with its own "goo" and could easily be spread upwards (and not only that, he makes a little sperm at the very beginning, before the big finish, it could be enough to make you preg...but thats a stretch).
I would say that you might not get preg, they say that most women get preg. from the sperm put in BEFORE ovulation (because the sperm are there waiting for the egg)...so maybe you shouldnt worry.
And really the only thing you can do now is wait...sorry, I cant give you a yes or no answer...thats the bad thing (and good thing) about sex...it makes babies..and you wont know for two weeks.
So just wait it out. ;)
