I've always had migraines since my early teens and I'm now 21. Medications have been able to get rid of the pain for short periods of time but then come back. I've so far been on imitrex, zomig, relpax and occasionally vicodin but they dont seem to be working anymore. I've tried changing my diet, creating regular sleep patterns, exercising, homepathic herbs...nothing works. This last episode is now going on 2 months and I'm at my wits end. I'm at school currently and taking ativan for stress, but my doc here seems to think I'm making this all up. I would switch doctors but none of the other offices here are taking new patients. I dont know what to do?! How can I get them to believe me? Its effecting me academically, social and psychologically and I'm just exhausted. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
