Hi,
I have been suffering from chronic headaches for 7 years im .
only 23!
i have been to see many people had many treatments osteopath acupuncture etc
As usual NHS doesn't wanna know!
I get the feeling of cramp in my head and neck for 1 -7 days. Shooting pains so bad i wince in pain my left eye swells and goes purple after a bad attack. I pysically cant do nothing poor neck movement numbness in my arms and legs at varius times.
I eventually saw a nurosurgon (privatly) and now have had MRI scans done and he has diagnosed my neck had no curve and is completly straight ( i have never had a accident) and little or no fluid in between my discs in my neck causing the muscles to go into spasm - hence the cramping feeling.
i have been prescribed to loads of different tablets eg diazipam codene amatriptaline etc and they dont work :(
I get really depressed over these and wondered if anyone else suffered / been cured as i cant deal with having this for the rest of my life.
Pls i need peoples help if you can help me.
Thank you so much
xx

Straightening of the cervical spine is the result of muscle spasms. I was wondering if you had tried to see a chiropractor. They can do wonders for someone in your condition. You could also introduce some exercising into your life. I realise it may seem absurd to exercise when you are in such pain and discomfort but it can do wonders and can help ease some of the symptoms.

I hope you feel much better soon. My own cervical spine is straight and I know how hard it is to deal with the cocktail of symptoms that accompany that.

I have the same thing...neck pain and headaches that are like constant pressure and now I am having some buring in my face I guess due to nerves being pinched. Got the MRI and doc said the ONLY thing that is wrong is I have lost the natural curve in my neck...well I want it back. LOL

This pain sucks! Let me know how you are doing...did you have an MRI of your head too?

Oh I am also having some blurred vision and the pain down the arm.
