what does it mean when blood work comes back elevated and you have to see a liver specialist

You know I'm in the same cituation with my liver enzymes are elevated to AST 226and ALT 236 I hope someone can help us out.Last blood test they were normal how can it jump this high in one month I don't get it.PLEASE help us.Take Care Eward.

Any nurses or Drs. here?or anyone that might of had an elevated enzyems and what was your Dx's.Please someone give some info.

My liver enzymes are jumping around also in short periods of time. ?? also looking for answer.

Hi Loriand Eward.

Can I ask if what your enzyme levels are and when do you see the Dr. next.I'm having more blood test tomorrow and probably won'y get the results until Tuesday.That is going to just drive me nuts now knowing.I did have 1 correction that I posted the last test wasn't 1 month ago it was in April.

So I will diffently let you know when I hear anything.

Got the results back and my enzyme levels were elevated from my medication.Just wanted to let all know.

My liver is elevated again but not as high so i'm hoping you can tell me what it might mean for a 2nd time.The 1st time the Drs. thought it was Methotrexate so I no longer take that.1st time:
AST-226
ALT-236
Now they read:

AST-51H
ALT-83H

Also my Lipid Panel:
TRIG-60
TOTAL CHOLESTROL-245H
HDL-101
LDL-132H

Are they connected at all for a Dx's?
