i did two things.. I repared the motor on my car and washed cloths the same day; where as i put my hands in chemical filled water. well the next day the skin on the back of my hands started peeling and it is spreading to the inside of my palm. what can i use?

Most likely you got a chemical burn. The skin that is damaged is slothing off=peeling. I would see a skin doctor.
