After 2 weeks on Lupron, I went for my query suppressed scan today...and the Lupron hasn't worked yet. I may have to continue with Lupron for another week, possibly on a higher dosage. They'll phone me back later today to tell me what to do.

Apparently my womb lining is still quite thick. Also, I have developed a couple of cysts, which is one side-effect of Lupron. These cysts may have to be manually drained under local anaesthetic, followed by a
course of antibiotics. Also, DH's test last week showed only 4% motility and a very low count. We'll definitely have to do ICSI.

So I'm a bit down in the dumps! Sorry for moaning - how is everyone else doing?

I'm so sorry you're feeling low. I've got a different drugs schedule to you - is the Lupron the drug that shuts down your hormones before you do the FSH injections? I can imagine how you're feeling, it just seems sometimes that we don't get a break from bad news. But try and keep your spirits up, you're in good company here!

It'll definitely be ICSI for me too - my period is on it's way so I start taking the BCP in a couple of days for three weeks then onto all the other meds in May with transfer scheduled for around the last week in May - that's if everything goes according to plan, but sometimes, as you know, it doesn't. Stick with it and let me know what your Doctor says.
