View Full Version : Have a Question?

When I called my RE yesterday the nurse said that I would have to come in before 10am on the third day of AF. My Question is Why before 10am ? The reason I am asking is that I work 1st shift 5am to 1:30pm and if I go in before 10am I have to miss a whole days work. Which I don't complain about, but I only have so many days I can miss and with the upcoming IUI I was going to take a day off.

Good luck to all you ttc ladies out there and lots of baby dust your way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kelly,

What are you going in for? If it is for an u/s or bloodwork, I think the tech is only there in the am. I know they schedule all u/s, bloodwork and other surgeries at my office in the am. I have to go next week everyday at 7am.

I believe it is because they need to take the blood and get it to the lab so they can call you back that afternoon with the results. All RE offices seem to do it that way. Good luck.

tmerone, I am going in for U/S and bloodwork and first injection.
Teener828, You are probably right we have to give the labs a little time to get results.

Thanks, Kelly

If you are getting blood tests done it probably is the timing for the lab . Talk to your DR , If its going to stress you out to take the whole day off work maybe they can make an arrangement you .
Can you take a lunch break + go then ?
