Here is the story: my daughter dislocated her elbow last winter while in college, she did PT for a few months, but it still didn't heal completely. She was complaining about how her arm feels heavy and she felt her bone moving.
This summer we went to the Orthopedic Surgeon, he did MRI, it shows complete tears of ligaments, so he suggested 'Tommy John' surgery to reconstruct her ligaments. We consulted with a few other surgeons and they suggested same. So, she had surgery in July, now doing PT, but she still feels that her bones are not stabilized.
I read about prolotherapy. Can it help to stabilize her bones? Can it be done after the surgery? Now, I start thinking, may be she shouldn't have surgery at all and try prolotherapy first???
Your suggestions are really appreciated.
