Question? What is the longest that a af has been missing I still have not seen it since feb 9 only spotting sometimes and the doctor said that they dont even give med. to bring it down until after 3 months so has anyone gone that long or longer. Is their something else I can take to bring it down? Will that be safe? My dh said their was an old remedy that has mother had that I can buy over the counter. Has anyone ever heard of that? Please for feed back.

I've gone up to six months without a cycle. My doctor told me (before I started ttc) that a healthy woman only needs to have a cycle 3-4 times per year. If my cycle doesn't start after fertility meds (clomid) and I'm not pg, the doctor will have me wait an additional 30 days (sixty total) before giving my a synthetic progestin pill. A progestin pill (provera, aygestin)for 10 days will induce a period.
