Hello! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wave.gif I'm not due until 4-16 for a progesterone check to see if my HCG was a successful trigger or not and of course I have questions... http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
Can anyone tell me what some of your progesterone results have been about one week after trigger?

Hiya MOMMMAA! 1 week after IUI, I came back at 29...I found this around....
A progesterone test is done to confirm ovulation. When a follicle releases its egg, it becomes what is called a corpus luteum and produces progesterone. A level over 5 probably indicates some form of ovulation, but most doctors want to see a level over 10 on a natural cycle, and a level over 15 on a medicated cycle. There is no mid-luteal level that predicts pregnancy.

MaLaFo got it right. I have had nothing over a 12, so I was put on progesterone suppositories. (We didn't need them, come to find out because I never got pg.)
On a medicated cycle, they want to see the level over 15.

Hiya Mare and MrsR! Thanks so much for your feedback! I start my lovely progesterone thingies tonight. Gotta love the anticipated gook. lol
They can be pretty yucky! My best advice to you is to take it right before you go to bed. That way, you don't have to worry about such a mess!

I know! FUNNY MOMMA! I'll be wearing a pad for the next 2weeks! LOL I have to take them 2x a day - thank goodness I work at home!

Ya'll are lucky. I have to take deep muscular injections for 2 weeks after the invitro. My meds were delivered today. The needles are as long as my arm! OUCH!

YIKES! Good Luck with that, Sunny! I just hope I don't get another yeast from these things. I don't feel like baking any bread this month.

yes i`m always wearing a pad in this two weeks, i can remember after my seconed IUI my progesterone level after 7 days from the iui was 65 and the nurse told me that this is v.good and i asked her if this is good she said yes over 10 is good .
ohhhhh i`m having a rest for 2 months , i`ll start on monday , i don`t know why i`m not feeling to start it yet, but i have to ,
