Howdie folks!

Alrighty, where to begin? I'm kinda freaking myself out and making myself worse, thinking the worst. Occasionally I'll get the odd heart flutter, think nothing of it and get on with my day. Around an hour ago my heart pounded for a second and it felt like my breath had gone for that second, my heart returned to normal pretty much instantly but it's got me worrying.
I'm 19, i suffer with anxiety but not really the panic attacks. About a year ago i had a fixation with my heart, went to the doctors on a number of occasions and they said my heart "sounded" fine, blood pressure was normal etc. I'm constantly worrying about it and it's hard to relax, the more i think about it the more my heart races/pounds which in turn causes me to become more unsettled. Should i be concerned about this palpitation?

Thank you for any help.

I need to know this too! i get this alot . It usually happens more often that i worry about it. And i find myself kinda waiting for it to happen. usually mine feels like 5 or so hard kinda fast beats...and they do also take my breath away..but not bad..i think its like a panic feeling. mine usually happens the most right when i lay down. or when i sit down after i just walk up some stairs..my mom does have v tac...well we think thats what she has..shes had 3 different diagnosises..and we are going out to boston somtime in the next month probably to see what that doctor says..my mom does have a difibulator, but, after $500,000 of testing and doctors appointments and such..they came to the conclusion that her condition is congenital..my brother did have alot of the palipitaitons about a year ago..but they said it was his stress levels..well. they have calmed down.. hes not as stressed..and i dont think he has them as often..my other brother who is really over weight, doesnt even have problems.
