Good morning!

I have found a grocer that has coconut water but it is from Thailand (so is my SIL). Do you think it is ok??

Is it bottled coconut water? I have neve tried the bottled coconut water, and I don´t know if it is as effetive as the fresh one. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/tongue.gif I use the "real" one, fresh from the coconut...if you don´t find the "green" coconut in the regular grocer, maybe you can find the "brown" one..it has less water, but still "drinkable"..:P

He said it was canned, so I am not sure if I should even get it. You buy the real coconut and chop off the top?? Last time I had a real coconut was in Aruba back in Jan. I wish I was back there laying in the sun instead of wearing my rain coat because of the Noreaster we are having today- yuck. Thanks for the website. I will check it out!!

we buy the coconut at a famer´s market near my house...the "coconut guy" cuts most of the top off, so DH just use a regular cooking knife at home to "open" the coconut and get the water... http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif it sounds like so much work, but it really isn´t. You are a doll for offering to send me a package. I spoke with my DH friend who lives in Brooklyn, NY and he is going to check some stores for me. If worse comes to worse, I will try the canned until I can find the bottled. It has to do some good. Have a wonderful, wonderful time on your cruise. We will miss you on the board. Relax and have a big frozen pina colada for me (hey they have coconut in them..lol). Enjoy
