Thanks guys! I am doing better, after having most of the day to let the news sink in. I think I felt better after dh said we should try again. We had talked before and this was supposed to be the last time. With both our scheduled and hectic lives the IVF process just adds so much more stress. But he was the one who told me we need to move forward and try again. So now I am going to be counting down the days until May 2nd when I meet with my RE and figure out what is the next step. I will be sure to keep you all posted.

YAY for DH! I'm blessed to have the support of my DH - I'm so happy you have that same support.

My best friend's sister in-law almost gave up afte their last failed IVF - her DH rooted her into just one more, and that was the one!

It will happen, Kelly - just keep your spirits up!

Awwww- you're a sweetheart, Kelly! I'm so glad that I was able to lift your spirits - you'll have to do that with me if I get a BFN. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif I truly believe this RE will bring us closer to our little blessing, if not this month, definately this year! And having DH be my primary cheerleader and this board being my other cheerleader helps out tremendously while he or she is just waiting to pop into our lives!

sorry to hear about you BFN http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/mad.gif It great that your husband is so supportive. I have never done IVF - although I am thinking about it but I just don't know if i can affort it. I am on the 2 ww and this was my 3rd IUI ---- BUT -- about 4 years ago I started going to the doctor and I've done over 18 IUI's all together. I will not give up !!! I took about a 2 year break and the first time I tried again was last december (5 months ago ) I did finally get pregn...
but my egg didn't stay attached -- I feel pretty good about this cycle but if it doesn't work ---- i'll try it again !!!!!! The reason why I am tell you all of this is so that you won't give up --- you are fortunate to be able to do IVF to where some of us can't. Don't get me wrong --- I am happy for you ----- JUST DON'T GIVE UP !!! YOU WILL REGRET IT !!!!!
Baby dust to you !!!!! TRY to relax !!

Don't worry skysam I won't be giving up. I have been ttc for a little over 9 years now. I have had 4 surgeries, ecery fertility test they could think of and numerous IUI's. I did take a year off between IVF #1 and this past IVF #2. But I am not taking anymore time off unless they make me. LOL! I want to keep plugging away at this now. I am actually considering looking into acupuncture in conjunction with the IVF.

Thanks for the support.

Skysam and Kel,

Wow, I give you credit for being so strong. God bless you for hanging in there and having the courage and strength. You will be rewarded- I just know it. I feel silly for breaking down yesterday and I haven't even had to go through what you guys have. I hope you get good news soon!!

Thanks guys. I think we need to think positively and just fight for what we want. I am not giving up until I have a baby. And I am not against trying new things in conjunction with IVF to make that happen. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Baby dust to all of you too! I hope we all see a light at the end of this dark tunnel soon. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif

Kel,

Glad you are being optimistic. I agree that you should try different things like acupuncture, reflexology, herbs etc. to help things along. Obviously they must help if people have been practicing them for hundreds and thousands of years. I was speaking with a neighbor telling her that I was going to hire a nurse to give my progesterone inj. starting next week because my DH is not comfortable giving them and she told me that right up the street is a woman who is in her 60's has been a nurse forever and also practices reflexology, massage therapy and is a vegetarian. She called and left a message that she would do the injections so I am going to pick her brain a little about some alternative methods. I will let you know what I find. I have done some internet research and apparently reflexology and aromatherapy combined is supposed to help a great deal. Keep the faith!!!

tmerone - That sounds great.....please do let me know what you find out. I am totally interested in that stuff. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Having the nurse do the shots would be awesome too. I used to have my friend who is a nurse do them. But now she lives about 20 minutes away. So dh was doing them. It is a pain in the butt....literally. LOL!!!
