Hi my name is andi,
I was diagnosed with Eurthmyia Multiforme I'm sure I hacked the spelling of it, I have super super sensitive skin especially when its dry, all I have to do is touch my hand to my face and dry skin shavings come off. I think that is kind of gross at least for me, anyway.
It goes along with my Inflammatory arthritis and Mixed connective tissue disease, I also get butterfly rashes, I've used everything from rosacea treatments to non rosacea treatments they have so many of them out their now that its hard to choose which one you will want to in my case waste money on. Mine won't ever go away it will just get better with the treatment of my auto immune diseases. MY opinion it might be different for others, this skin disease also affects my organs as well. So lets just say I am not a healthy individual. Mentally at this point because of all the stuff I've been diagnosed with the skin thing irritates me because in the summer I can't go out on the beach unless I want to mix sunblocks to form 80 proof,I use aveeno brands and they help the dryness tremoundsly I also just started to use cetaphil which helps moisturize a lot.
The Eurthmyia Multiforme, scares me because I already have autoimmune diseases that affect my organs, right now i'm starting methotextrate to hopefully slow that process down and maybe get rid of some of the skin conditions. I'm just hoping. I know that its not a miracle drug by any means.
I'm not even sure it works on skin problems but at least my doctor is willing to try something, i really am not looking forward to the once a week injections that I have to give myself in the stomach, but if it works I guess its worth it. Anyway has anyone heard of Eurthymia Multiforme, I haven't been able to find much maybe its the way i'm spelling if you could find anything please let me know or if you have any similar experiences please share at this point anything will help me to know i am not alone with all these diagnosis, I don't think i even added fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome I'm sure I am missing one more. somewhere. :shrugs: it sucks but I just have to deal I guess.
