I am a fertility patient who was found to have an endometrial polyp on ultrasound. When I have my hysteroscopy and D&C I will be half way through my cycle. When after the D&C should I expect my period?:)

Hi,
I've just had the procedures done for polyp and fibroid removal. The information pamphlet from the hospital says that the normal period will not appear for 4-6 weeks. By the way, there's light bleeding lasting 1-2 weeks afterward.
