I have had head pessure on left side of my head for 8 months starting with a sinus infection but that cleared and pressure and severe pain remains. I went through 2 rounds of avelox at the beginning, then have been on many meds, none have really helped. I now takke neurontin 1200 mg a day and am trying indocin and a muscle relaxer. They dull the pain enough to get through the day but I feel like I'm in a fog and can't function at my best. I'm having panic attacks due to dealing with this so long and not knowing what is going on. I have had ct, mri neck x-rays,, nothing shows up. I hurt through rhe left side of my face, temple eye to the back of my head. Presssure can be severe. Help

The fog could be due to the muscle relaxer. If I take a strong muscle relaxer like flexeril or baclofen, I'm out of it for at least 2 days, even at half doses. I had to switch to a short acting muscle relaxer due to spasms in my shoulders and neck. It's much eaiser on my system and there is no fogginess. I get severe pressure as well, but only in the winter months and they often turn into migraines. I use to sleep with two pillows which helped a lot, but now I have a spinal cord injury and am down to one pillow.

I have had severe head pain since November 06. Felt like sinus infection to me, but did not respond to any meds. I have since had an infected tooth extrated. I no longer have flu-like syptoms and nausea which apparently were caused my a massive infection, but my headd pain persists. Hard to work, no personal life, very, very discouraged. Anyway, have had your teeth xrayed?
