Thanks elainee. I temped today again and am back down to 36.2 so I don't know if I actually did O now. When I added todays temp it took away my O day so I guess it was just due to my whacky sleep. I had had a bad night of sleep that night.

Hi all,
I'm new to this board, and am *almost* up on the lingo...
This is our third cycle TTC #1, and I am now in the TWW. I'm not the world's most patient person, so I thought it would be nice to chat with others in the same boat! Going to test on Wed, 10/15 (13 DPO) and AF is due on Friday...
I only have OK hopes for this month. Timing wasn't so great, as I had to go out of town for work on the big O day and the day after... but darn if we didn't try our best right up until the car service came to pick me up and the few days prior. Ha.

Well I am 2dpo and af is due on 25 Oct and it seems like I have an eternity to wait! But we did try our hardest! So we will see. I got off BC pill (orthro - low) in July so i dont know if it is to early or not. But I know I am Oing and I did on saturday. I used the OPK. I am also temping but forgot to yesterday and today so thats out the window I think! I will still continue the rest of the month. I also know i Od becasue my nipples are always sore after oing (sorry TMI) So i am hoping that they just continue to keep hurting.. maybe a good sign?? Well im looking forward to this 2WW with you all!

So.. I don't know what's going on anymore. My chart had said I was Oing.. but my temps are all now low. So, I didn't O?? I don't know :mad: Todays temp was at 36.3 same as yesterday.. my 36.6 spike I think was just a fluke.
If I still have yet to O I'm not going to be late for the first timein 5-6 cycles.. which to me seems weird. Thought I was now having shorter cycles.
I'm wondering if maybe I did O but my temps aren't reflecting it somehow. Like, in the mornings when I'm too hot, I immediately cool myself off by throwing off all the blankets and we keep our room really cool at all times because hubby can't sleep in a warm room. He roasts. I've taken my temp at night time just to see.. it's lower then my bbt! at night I often get in the 35's.. so.. as I said.. I just don't know anymore.
I'm trying everything I can get this all straight and I'm getting more confused. So, count me as border line tww.

Tested this morning with a negative result, and I see all normal signs that AF is right around the corner. Bummer.

Thanks Elainee! So now Im only 5DPO & CD19 and want this 2WW to hurry up I expect AF to arrive on 25 Oct! So ever since I Od i have have very sore nipples some times a little sore other times very sore... I dont know why it does that. They usually get sore after O but never stay sore that long. So we will see, very uncomfortable! I have been having lotion type of CM and cervix is a little higher than normal... I think I am coming down with a cold!:( Last night I couldnt get to sleep becasue of a stuffed up nose and today just a little nauseated with a slight headache. May be from the lack of sleep due to my stuffy nose! The weather is getting much colder up here in North Dakota.. Burr.. I dont want to get a cold right now it needs to wait until after this 2WW so i can take medicine.. I dont know what kind of medication I can take TTC any ideas?

Thaele, sorry to read your confusion and stress about your temps. I really urge you to read Taking Charge of your Fertility, if you haven't already. It explains the temps and what certain temps mean etc. I wish I could help you more.

I guess maybe it just means I won't O this cycle due to stress with all the crappy bad news I've been getting. I think I've actually taken it all pretty well, I mean, it sucks.. but didn't think I let it bother me so much. Maybe I was wrong and am more worried then I'm letting myself believe lol. Who knows.
I haven't been overly consistent with times I've temped though, so that's partially the problem too.. if my cats wake me up earlier, I have to temp then because I'll only have gotten about 1.5 hours of sleep otherwise when I'm supposed to wake up, and usually, once I'm up at 5 I only really 'rest' until I have to get up. Too hard to get back to sleep. My temp times range from 5 to 7:15 during the week. Weekends I normally do it around 10. Last weekend I had woken up on my own around 7:30 to do it, which was weird. Who knows. This may not work out for me.. but I'll do it regardless for a few months and if unsuccessful to get pg will go to my doc. So far, I don't like it. :(

after 3 days of light spotting, i considered my 4th day to be my cd1. currently, i'm on cd4 and very anxious to start again. it will all happen in good time for dh and myself, and quite surprisingly, i'm being very laid back about it. we both decided we're going to get the "estimated o date" online and just do it all 3 days before and after the date they give us.
a website gave me a fertile week of 11/01-11/06 (my birthday.) hopefully that will bring us some luck.

Aww cookie, happy early birthday. I know I won't remember in time to say it then!!! I do hope this brings you that little bit of luck ;)
As for me. Count me out of the 2ww as of Saturday. AF came on, fairly light, no more then moderate I'd say, only had cramping on Saturday when it started up, which is odd because generally it happens on the first full day of AF, so I wake up with bad tummy cramps the next morning and it's in full force.. Sunday morning I felt 100%?? with just light bleeding. I didn't get the usual AF stuff so it was very very weird for me and not only that, my cycle was only 20 days long. :confused: AND, AF was only really 1.5 day long with spotting today tapering it off.
Anyway, the site I use has said my fertile days are the next 5 days.. :confused::confused::confused: lol. I'm absolutely completely confused!!!! My AF is pretty much done today, there's only a bit of stuff coming out when I go pee, otherwise.. nodda. So, I'm fairly confused, to say the least.
My temp yesterday spiked pretty high at 36.4.. I don't know waht that is in F sorry.. but that's like high for me seeing how I'm normally 36.1 or 36.2.. today it dropped to 36.0.. so, I have no clue what to think anymore. And now that my next few days are fertile??? And more so, my cp is changing to med soft slightly open.. I don't know what the acronym would be for that.. so, if AF were to be going full force, I'd think with it being open it'd be heavy. Maybe I just didn't get a good enough boost of wahtever hormone is required for a decent AF. I wouldn't complain other then the fact I'd like to get preg before I turn 30!!
Sorry this is so long. I'm just so frustrated. I'm going to be going to the docs when I get my card back. I just have to wait until then. Maybe I'll get lucky by that point. Cross your fingers for me.. I'm starting to feel like the most unluckiest person in the world. Besides this, everything and anything is just going horribly wrong!! I nearly got side swiped this morning by someone who must have figured being in the turning lane with an advance green means I'm parked. UGH! I was not a happy camper this morning, and I'm trying hard to turn my mood around but I just want something good to happen. Anything. Like... maybe a bfp? :D

as for me, like every month, the nausea has officially subsided now that af is almost gone. i really think it's a hormonal thing. i really just hope i'm ovulating!

Thanks elainee and cookie. I'm really not sure at all anymore. I'm just.. confused lol. I don't know if it was delayed O but yesterday my temp dipped to 36.. today it's at 36.6. Pretty high. It wouldn't matter if this was O as we were too exhausted to BD in time to catch this. I don't think it's O though. I've never bled at this time. It's probably my hormones is what I'm thinking. Just on the off chance.. I tested today as to have such high temps usually means pregnancy.. yesterday's temp I'm disregarding because I was completely frozen, my room was horribly cold. Today, had a great sleep, felt a little cool but just nice, and I woke up at a good time so today's temp should be correct. 36.6 is high for AF coming. Estrogen would keep my temps down and not up. O would bring it up too though. Either way, I have no idea, and I'm not guessing anymore lol. We didn't BD the past week or so.. fh is sick now too :( he caught a bug.. so no BD for a few days at least. That's ok though.. I want to take it easy from now on and stop being such a pg brain head. Maybe that's what causing the whackiness of my cycles. Who knows!!

Hey everyone Ever since I Od I have been having very sore nipples and my cm was wetter than ever before and I was very emotional! I woke up from a dream and cried for an hour!! Too emotional. Well this morning I woke up and saw ten preg tests under my cabnet and decided I could just test today just for fun.. I am 10dpo and I saw the faintest BFP and I was like its too early to be able to see a BFP.. so I did another one BFP again! So I took one and put it in water for a negative one so i could compare no line.. so I called my doctors office was in 30 min later getting a blood test done.. Went back there an hour later and the doctor confirmed that I am pregnant my levels are good!! My due date is July 4th!!! Im SO EXCITED AND HAPPY AND EVERYTHING ELSE!!! Cant believe 2 tests caught it only 10dpo! For my job I had to tell my supervisor today they were going to have me go clear a hard drive with a big magnetic thing!! I dont know if that is safe so I said I couldnt.. And spilled the beans! That was my first BFP I have ever seen!! Cant believe how happy and excited i am!!
So since i went and got blood confirmed i am preg right im really worried about a miscarriage. noone in my family has ever had one before.. i just hope everything is ok!!!

I don't really have much CM either or O pains that I'd normally get?? I had plenty of CM last week, so I started using my opk on CD8. What a whirlwind it is! Wow I am still in shock but I am so happy! We told our families couldnt keep our happiness a secret any longer! The tests i was usng were just internet cheapies I got 10 free pregnancy tests with 40 opks.. My mother said she is shocked that I could find out 10dpo.. So she in convinced i am having twins.. I Highly doubt that!!! Anyone else find that strange though? I am afraid that since I found out early I may loose it?? I am just afraid of something bad happening! Anytime i feel any wettness I freakout! But When we were TTC we used opks preseed and temps.. Im still charting though To make sure i dont see a dip in my temp! How is everyones 2ww going? Thank you all for your support! I hope to see you all in the prego boards!!!

Congratulations jessjjm! I take it, it's your first pregnancy? It's a very surreal feeling when you see those lines for the first time, I can remember when I got pregnant the first time around! About finding our 10dpo, I think I found out fairly early too with my daughter (very faint line as well) but as you can tell, it's just her and no twin!
Well, I might be just a little bit behind you :) Although I have not tested yet, I think I might also be pregnant, again! AF was suppose to arrive on the 23rd and my temps are still up. I've also had sore nipples (well, more itchy this time) and have been super tired. But that's it as far as signs go. I will let you guys know once I take that test. DH and I have been trying for four months this time around and I wasn't even sure that this month was a good month for us, because we only bd'd a couple of times and they were both relatively early in reagards to O-ing.
Anyway, hope all others will follow us soon too ;)

befer70 let us know when you do test! I hope you get a BFP This is my first and I am very excited! I doubt it is twins but my mother wont stop saying it though! She says it runs in our family but has not in a couple generations so she said it time! I said I think it died out!! We started TTC in July (got off BC) but missed Aug and Sept due to being out of town. We would be together either day after or a week before.. Poor timing for TTC and this month we were together the whole time. We BD day 4 prior to O, day 3 prior to O and 24 hours after I got my Positive OPK.. (would have earlier but had a lot of errands) Along with using Preseed on all of those days with keeping pillow under bottom with legs in the air for 10 min then just laying flat for 10 more min!
So anyone else in the 2WW testing soon? Come on BFP's

I also thought I saw wrong this morning when my temp plummeted from 98.1 down to 97.3 ... a sure sign. It looks really awful when you look at the chart, up high for 11 days and then boom down all the way. Also, my period was 5 days late... how strange.
Oh well, hopefully better time next time around, with better bd timing.

I just joined this forum and am still learning how to navigate. Wanted to wish you all luck in the 2WW. I'm right there with you. DH and I have been TTC since May '08 (although not always with great attention to timing, etc.) and I'm hoping this will be the month. I've been charting and we both timed bding this month much better. I'm 5DPO and just waiting...

Hey Befer, just wanted to pop in and comment quickly. You may be 'late' in terms of how long between each cycle you would normally have however this doesn't necessarily mean anything. The amount of days where you temp stays up, known as your luteal phase, is what should never change. So, the time between AF and O can change, may be more or less each cycle, what you need to keep an eye on is how long your luteal phase is. Yours according to what you're saying is only 11 days, A bit short, but I think it's anything under 10 days can signify a luteal defect. I think AF for you came right on time, according to your LP. Is this your first month charting? Or do you know how long your LP normally is? The length can make all the difference in wether or not you get pg. Especially if it's too short. I'm currently trying to determine mine, last month's chart is really not helpful lol.

I know I should be sad, but this cycle was so screwed up because I was sick, I am very happy to start over. Had I gotten preg. this cycle I would have worried because it was so screwed. I am looking forward to a normal cycle. So CD 1 for me, 10 days till "love week"...lol....It pushes a baby further into the summer...but I am really not worrying about it...as long as I have a baby by next christmas I will be ok. We are moving back to the US next month..and I am so excited about that...and living in a HOUSE, so if it takes a while..I will be fine.
Onward to new beginnings!

as for me, dh and i have entered the bd'ing portion of my cycle, this time, paying very close attention to detail, while trying to keep spontinaety and the fun of making love. i'm due to ovulate (ranging from 2 websites) between 11/02 and 11/06. its a large difference, but i'm thinking it may be towards the 2nd because of the 4 days of spotting i had. either way, we'll bd every other night from here to the 12th.. and we're both hating that ;)

Again this cycle I've got one foot in and one foot out on the 2ww lol. My chart says I ov'd based on my temp alone.. but nothing else confirms it. I don't have neither have had any EWCM since the spotting, and my cp is not show either. It's gotten a bit softer today but it's still just med all over and definately not open. So, how could I have ovulated when there's been absolutely no change in anything other then my temps? I'm fairly certain that the fact we had slept with open windows off and on with the whacky weather has caused my temps to change. Now the windows are closed at night as we're dipping below 0 so it's warmer overall.. and my temps are keeping up.
Another thing, I've had sore bbs now for almost 2 weeks. I've never had sore bbs for THAT long! It feels like they're smooshed all night long and as soon as I wake up whatever's been holding them down releases and all I can say is OUCH! They're sore and itchy now almost all the time.
Last cycle, based on temps, I could have O'd on CD10.. however, based on cm and cp, it would have been closer to CD17. My light bleed was on CD20. Could CD20 have possibly been O? Has anyone heard of this? If the case is that was O I'm late for my real AF.. I have teste BFN on tests but another strange thing is that FH is almost convinced I'm pg ,whereas every other cycle he was dead certain I was wrong about my thinking I was pg and knew AF was coming. So, this has gotten me doing the overanalysis thingy that I wanted to avoid. I was following his lead on 'taking it easy'.. now all of a sudden he's jumping on the bandwaggon.
So... I'm at a loss of what to think really. Either I O'd last cycle, but all 3 of my O detector whatchyamacallits don't add up or I didn't. And same with this cycle.. none of them are matching up the predicted O day. Even the site I use says they don't all match up and won't give me a for sure solid line for O day.

well, either your just spotting for the sake of spotting, or maybe you O'ed earlier then you thought and its implantation spotting.. who knows. its probably just a wacky thing, and its nothing to worry about.. wishing the best for your thaele.

Good idea taking the Robitussin, it will help loosen up your CM, although I don't remember you ever saying you had problems with your CM, but everything little thing help as far as I'm concerned. Regarding your O pains, it could be your body getting ready to O, so start your BD'ing tonight and keep going!! Enjoy.
Thaele, I said that to you that that bleed could be O, that's what happened to me when my cycles went awry for a few months. I would get a light bled for a day or so and my cycles at that stage were 32 up to 36 days. Which made sense for O in the early CD20's.

I went in for a pap in April and said I thought I had just ovulated the day before and she very casually said, yah, that would make sense cause you had a little spotting during the pap. Same exact thing this month (I'm on a 6-month rather than an annual visitation schedule). I had spotting the day of the pap, which could have been the pap or it could have been O (although I think i ovulated the day or two after) So, yes, it could be.

Keeping my hopes up, although I'm not feeling any different.

i have no idea if i'm ovulating or not. i'm on cd18, but my cycles are about 32 days. dh and i bd'ed cd's 14, 16, will again tonight (18) and we will also on 19, 20 and 22 for good luck. i'm hoping that will cover all my bases. i've been taking robatussin and the only noticable difference in my cm is that it is more abundant.. so i'm hoping thats a good thing.

Thanks for the support! Actually, my last post was in response to someone else's question about ovulation spotting, but thanks!
As for me, I'm now 10 dpo and this morning when checking CM noticed some pink spotting, but not enough to show up when wiping. Later this morning I checked again and it's light brown/tan. I am hoping it is implantation bleeding and not early AF (I'm not due for AF until Nov. 7 or 8), but who knows...don't want to get my hopes up too much. I can say that I've never had spotting this early. Usually a day or two before AF.
Other than that, I've had mild cramping since about 6DPO. Bbs more tender (but that's normal). Was really hot last week into Sat. Now today I feel like AF is starting.
Also, I got a positive OPK on Oct. 24 and we bd's the 21st-25th. I've been charting and it shows I ovulated, but my weekend charting is off cause I don't get up early enough. Not too helpful.
Elainee, my obgyn got pregnant, with natural twins, the month she didn't get a positive OPK, so who knows!

The ongoing drama.. omg..
This morning I started spotting AGAIN. It's only CD17 since last AF started, or that light bleed.. whatever you want to call it. I'm so confused. I don't have any cramps.. it's not a flow yet.. and I feel very sick, weak and tired.
Honnestly, I don't know what's going on. I'm going in to see my doc tomorrow. FH thinks maybe I'm pg, someone else has said this too.. but really, last AF came at CD20.. I'm too discouraged to think it's anything but AF at this point. The way I feel overall isn't characteristic of AF, and last time I had cramping within 2 hours of the spotting and it did turn bright red.. but still.. it's depressing to think every 2.5 weeks I'm getting AF. I'm cold and hot all at the same time.. like a cold sweat.. and really don't feel like being at work yet here I am.

Thaele, that just confusing. I'm glad you're going to the doctor tomorrow, they will let you know what's going on. Hopefully it is pregnancy...make sure you let us know as soon as you get back.
Me, I'm CD26, haven't a clue what dpo I am, even I'm even any dpo this month at all. I really feel like AF is about to arrive any time, I'm PMS full swing and all the usual things that go along with it. I don't have AF cramps, but I have that constant feeling in my stomach, you know the one you get right before AF arrives, so I'm just waiting. Cookie, I have been thinking about that Fertilaid alright, but I think it might be more down to the anti inflamatories I was on, so I've decided I'll stay one more month on the Fertilaid and see what happens. If I have another cycle like this though, I'll be straight off it. I think as well I'm might start the dreaded temping as well!!
Anyway, we're all still waiting...so best of luck to us all xx

Me, I'm CD26, haven't a clue what dpo I am, even I'm even any dpo this month at all. I really feel like AF is about to arrive any time, I'm PMS full swing and all the usual things that go along with it. I don't have AF cramps, but I have that constant feeling in my stomach, you know the one you get right before AF arrives, so I'm just waiting. Cookie, I have been thinking about that Fertilaid alright, but I think it might be more down to the anti inflamatories I was on, so I've decided I'll stay one more month on the Fertilaid and see what happens. If I have another cycle like this though, I'll be straight off it. I think as well I'm might start the dreaded temping as well!!

Elainee, Petunia.. It is confusing and frustrating. It seems to have tapered off now and it's only when I wipe. I've heard this so many times from other women.. So, I'm really trying to keep my hopes low. Just because of how last cycle went... FH thinks it's implantation.. us having sex last night probably didn't help!

elainee, i think its very smart of you to keep going with the fertilaid for one more month. the antinflamitories could have been what was keeping you from a +opk. sorry to hear that you feel like af is around the corner, but it will be nice to get a clean start for next month!

(i got 2 different answers from 2 websites on an estimated ovulation date.) i'm begining to wonder if its hormones at O'ing that make me feel this way, or maybe a lack of O'ing could do this. if anyone has any imput on that, i would appreciate it.

Cookie, if its your first time charting, they're only estimates but won't be accurate at all unless you've got a few charts going. Mine have me estimated at weird dates too, especially now since 2 of my cycles are so short, I'm apparently O'ing when I'm still menstrating.. doesn't make sense! lol.
I have an appointment at 250 today with my actual real doc.. so no more clinics for me to deal with this crap. Unfortunately, I have to take time off of work but luckily I have sick time to use! I just don't like to use it. I've never had it before so it's like a huge luxury I don't want to use up lol.
I didn't test this morning. Heads up, TMI! I get these ltitle blobs of blood that come out when I pee, but only when I pee, so like if I force at all I suppose. Otherwise, even when I wipe... there isn't much.. and it's just a light pink/brown.. with lots of what looks like to me as EWCM which I haven't had in weeks. But, I'm not sure if AF normally has that? I don't know.. normally AF for me is mod-heavy and very red and flowy. This just isn't quite the same. But I still feel it is AF. Since it's so early, that would probably account for its weirdness. I hope she'll at least run some tests that can give me some concrete answers and no maybes. I'm tired of just being flicked off.
Cookie, maybe your body produces a huge amount of whichever hormones is required to O and that's why you're sick around O time? I'm not sure if you've gotten those levels tested yet.. I know you'll be seeing a specialist but I thin kthat isn't for a while yet is it? What I've read is a lot of our pg symptoms and AF symptoms are alike because literally they are caused by the same exact thing. So, some people don't feel them during AF while others feel it during pregnancy.. and some feel it during AF while during pregnancy it subsides. It's hard to say why you're so sick but my guess is it's hormones at their best and you're getting a big dose to release that egg? Who knows.. I am far froma doc, and it's definately entirely just a guess!!!

I was reading that it's very common to get a negative because you missed the LH surge and that it's better to test twice a day, at say noon and later at 8 p.m. Just a thought. I know you can buy a bunch of cheapie testing stips at various online places.
I also know from experience that any minor stress such as illness, travel, etc. can throw off ovulation by a lot. That happened to me last month. I had a minor cold, stayed up way too late the Friday before I was supposed to O, and it was delayed by a week. When I broke my leg it threw off my cycle by almost 3 weeks. Point being, unless you're temping and using the OPKs maybe even twice a day, it's really hard to be sure if you O'd or not.
Thaele, please let us know how the doc. goes! I can't even venture a guess at what's going on for you. Sorry you're going through that. Lots of support!

I'm back from the docs! Such a relief actually talking to a 'real' doctor!! lol. She didn't flick me away and made me feel relieved about this all.
So here's a rundown of how it went.
I explained to her everything, showed her the length of every cycle I've had since TTC, showed her my temps from last 2 charts since I started.. She said last cycle she doesn't think I ovulated at all.. but that this cycle I did actually ovulate and she said something about how I ovulated fast? I don't know.. I didn't quite catch it very well.
Anyway, she told me that after all that, she thinks I am pregnant, and that if I'm bleeding it would be normal probably up to week 12.
I did a whole whack load of blood tests, I don't think there's any left in me!! She tested hormone levels, and my thyroid again, this time all the thyroid stuff.. and other things like liver/kidney function and the list goes on. I also have to go for an ultra sound on Thursday.. a transvaginal one EEK!
After all that.. I'm hesitant to believe I AM pregnant.. I don't know. I'm bleeding, a little crampy.. this is like AF but just really really light in comparison.. almost non existent in comparison lol.
Regardless, tomorrow morning I'm gonna POAS!!! I didn't this morning thinking I'd be at the docs anyway and there was still some bleeding.. she didn't do a pee test but did do a blood test for pregnancy. I'll find out tomorrow for sure what's going on.

My hopes are up but not too high.. I still think maybe it's just a messed up AF.. she doesn't think so though.. meh.. I'll get my answer tomorrow. Now the wait is going to kill me!

thaele, i was going to say - it is possible to ovulate during menstration, and get pregnant. it would make sense for the short af's too. but it sounds like you're heading in the right direction with this doctor, and i'm so happy for you to be getting some answers today (hopefully!) i'm crossing everything for you dear!! now get on and let us know your results already -- i'm impatient!!

i have to say, i completely agree with all of you that my problems are hormonal. my liver, kidneys and thyroid are in mint condition (tested multiple times over the past 6 months or so). if i do not get pregnant at the end of january (due to ovulate the first week or so) we will be visiting the specialist and hopefully getting it straightened out. i can manage the nausea until then, its only a few months away.
today though, on a high note, i woke up to a heap of cm. i couldnt tell if it was ew (because i was still half asleep ;)) but it felt like ew's. so dh and i will bd again tonight, tomorrow night and saturday for kicks.

Elainee, she has always been really good and responsive like this. The only problem I've had though is trying to get in at a time that works! Before this job, I couldn't afford to take time away... at least now I can since I'm permanent now. I guess I was stuck in the mindset that I couldn't take time away from work. I'm happy I did. She's always been real quick at getting tests done.. but, sometimes slow on delivering the results lol. I guess it makes a difference though if the results go through other hands before hers. Plus, she's often on holidays or sick so that makes it tough too. She's canceled on me before when I took a full day off work to make it in. Errg. She's still really nice anyway and it's not her fault.. I was just bitter since I lost out on a day's worth of pay lol.
You've got me thinking about when CD1 should be. Last AF and this one, never got a full flow.. so.. I don't really have a CD1 lol. That's confusing. Sorry AF found you though.. that jerk!

Either way, I still think this is just a weird cycle again. I don't want to think that, but it's just my gut telling me this. Then again, I don't want to argue with FH and the doc so I'll pretend they're right for now ;)
Woot EWCM! I honnestly haven't seen any of that stuff in quite some time now! I've had CM but I remember before TTC I'd get EWCM a lot and enver knew what the heck it was for.. now that I know, I have none!! lol... why do our bodies do this to us? I hope you get BFP before the specialist appointment! Maybe that'll scare your body into high gear and get preggers:D Oddly enough, I know a lot of people who were frustrated and got to the point where they bought a lot of OPK's, hpt's, that cm stuff and set up all sorts of appointments and go into full force... then get a bfp before any of that can be used. It's kinda bitter sweet.. I'd do all that if it meant it would cause a BFP! But.... there's never any guarantee!

I called and won't find out until at least tomorrow. Since my test was later yesterday.. they won't get results until this afternoon and they're closed at 1 on Wednesdays. This is one reason I rarely go in.. I never know what their hours are like a normal drs office. Meh.. I'll call tomorrow I guess!!
As of right now, I'm actually feeling a bit ewy. I thought again my AF would come in full flow, you know that feeling you get? Anyway, I went pee.. nothing came out. I don't know why I got that feeling! I wiped and had some light watery brownish coloured stuff. I'm so anxious to just find out. I really hope that the dr and fh are right.. I'm so emotional right now just wavering between thinking I am and aren't.. my test this morning probably didn't help either lol. I'm trying to dive deep into my work but having trouble doing that as I have a case that is very ugly to deal with and has been ongoing for too long lol.. AHHH. I really hope this is the last month though!! The torture stinks.

Quibby, I did, but that was at 11dpo and from what I've read you only have less then 50% chance to get a pos pg test at that point lol. I also think I implanted a bit later based on my temps. I was impatient. I saw a shadowy line but it wasn't blue, so it might just have been the coating on that line or something? I don't know.. but it definately didn't go blue at all. I'll find out later what the blood test says. Last night I set my hopes on pg. I told fh that I finally convinced myself I was. I don't want to be disapointed so I better be :D I think I've been reading too much about implantation bleeding, everything out there basically says exactly what I'm going through so it's gotta be true! *fingers crossed* lol
Petunia, I'd test on Saturday.. if you did O 2 days later, you're only going to be testing one day early.. I think this should be ok? If you can wait it out until sunday or monday then go ahead but personally, I'm not patient enough with this whole ttc thing as you can tell

aww thaele, isn't that nice to feel that you've convince yourself you HAVE to be pg? i've felt that a few times.. like i really had to be pg.. its a nice feeling, but in my case was shot down. i really am hoping the best for you, but still please be careful. the first like 3 times i went to the doctors for my nausea and symptoms, she (2 different female doctors) said i had to be pg, which put me on cloud 9... then turns out that i wasn't.
believe me sweetie, i'm praying for your big +.. i really am! i just want you to at least keep some sort of a foot on the ground until you know for sure. ooh thaele... i cant wait for you to post your results! my stomach is in knots waiting!! :angel:

hehe thanks cookie! I'm not totally on cloud 9.. I'm still a bit hesitant. If your stomach is in knots imagine how I feel? Especially after finding out I have to wait even longer to know my results. Possibly later today OR tomorrow?!?!! Grr.. I can't do much but wait anyway. I am hoping my u/s will show it! My doc had to call the lab to find out what was taking so long. I don't know what it could mean but it's probably just that the lab is swamped and my blood tests haven't come up yet to do. I really wanted to go into my U/S knowing the results.. escpecially if I had questions to ask, then they'd be geared towards pg or issues with my baby makers.. now my questions will be kind of like shooting in the dark and all 'what if' and I don't like doing that.

If any of you might be wondering what the results are. I'm still waiting too. :( They have other blood test results, and apparently there's an issue with my thyroid. Not even a week ago I had the TSH levels tested and they were I think normal.. but I asked my doc to check the t3 and t4 and I guess tehy've found issues for that. They've gone ahead and pretty much made an appointment for me then told me I HAD to go. So, the way it sounds, numbers might be really off? I don't know. I asked about the pg blood test... that's STILL not in..???? :confused: I felt bad because I've called them about 3 or 4 times today already.. She said there was no pg test in all her paperwork she got back and that they were still waiting on it, and also got the impression they were waiting on other tests to come back too. So, I have to wait 3 days for results now. She took my cell number though to call me as soon as she gets them, hoping she doesn't forget or get too swamped :(
My U/S went ok. But, the technician couldn't tell me anything. She said the doc had to review the stuff before I could find out. More frustration! I swear if I'm not pg after all this I'm going to cry lol

Oh Thaele, how aggervating! I can't believe it's taking so long! I hope you're holding up OK. How are you feeling otherwise? Be strong, hopefully you'll have an answer by the end of the day??? We're all praying for a + result!
I've got a little drama of my own...well, as much as I wanted to wait to test until Friday, I broke down and did this morning. But here's why. Last night I felt like I was getting a cold and took my temp just to see what it was and it was 97.7, which is my coverline temp, so I figured my temps were dropping and I would get AF in the next few days. This monring I woke up at 5:20 (which NEVER happens), took my temp at it was 97.8...still above coverline, but not very high, so I figured this sycle was a bust. For kicks I decided to use my last hpt from dollar tree, since it's only a dollar. Those tests are pretty sensitive and can detect I think 20 or 25 mlU hcg.
So I took the test and went upstairs to make breakfast. I really didn't expect anything...another BFN as usual. After 10 minutes I went back downstairs and looked at the test expecting to see nothing and instead saw a very faint pink line. It was faint but visible. I am truly, truly amazed!!!
I'm still wary and bought 2 more tests today that I'm going to take tomorrow. I feel like I can't let myself get excited until the line really gets darker. But as of today no signs at all of AF, which is unusual b/c by now I start slightly spotting for a day or two and then she comes in full force.
I haven't told hubby yet cause I want to show him a test that is more obvious. But if it is looking good again tomorrow morning, I'll tell him. The reason I'm not waiting until Sat. or Sun. (aside from impatience) is because we're going camping this weekend with a bunch of friends and I need to know either way. Peeing on a stick in the middle of the desert is not really how I want to do it.
I'll report more on tomorrow morning's results!

It's really frustrating. I didn't get a call today so I won't know until tomorrow.. or the day after? I have no idea. thaele, i know how frustrating this is for you.. all i can say is you have to take a deep breath and just relax. stressing about it isn't going to make it any easier, but i know its hard not to. just do your best to take it easy -- think of it this way, if you ARE pg, this added stress especially isn't good!

It took me about 20 minutes of calling over and over until I could finally get through the line. As I suspected this morning, since my temp had dropped a lot... I'm not pg. :( I got a little choked up and was down so I went for a coffee... this was all on my 15 minute break lol. It's not all coffee btw in case you're wondering, it's actually hot chocolate with a bit of coffee added ;) I cheat!! lol. Anyway, I think I'm actually taking this better then I thought I would have. I honenstly thought I'd have cried or something but nope.. I got choked up ya, but that was it. I've read a bit on thyroid issues and ttc and pregnancy and would really like to know what is actually wrong and get it controlled as some of the effects on the baby if you do get pg can be scary.. doesn't necessarily mean it would happen to me but just in case you know?
Anyway, I think I'm about to O again.. my cp is softer and is going up. I think I'm going to buy OPK's today too.. my temps are difficult to really read, though I guess so far they couldn't have been all that far off lol.
Up until the doc said she thought I was pg, I honnestly had my hopes so low, it's not that I didn't care if I did or didn't get pg, but was trying to take a different approach and just be mellow about it. I'm going to try that again but it put my hopes up, and I would like to feel that again, but for the real thing next time :D
Anyway, I'm ok now. Took me a few minutes to compose myself before coming back to work, but we're all good. I told fh we had to do the deed tonight since I think I'm about to possibly O again. And, if I do have thyroid issues, I'm sure my doc will start treatments right away. She's pretty good about that. And from what I've read, the treatments are safe for pregnancy since it's a natural hormone the body would require anyway.

What did the tests reveal about your thyroid, or are you still waiting to hear more? Please let us know what you learn about your situation and also how this new cycle goes for you! I did get my tsh results back from last week (I had gone to a clinic because of breathing issues which I suspected was caused by my thyroid..) anyway, those levels were 1.8, I don't know of what?? lol.. and I don't exactly know what it means though from what I saw that was in the range for tsh. I guess this one got rushed to them when they saw the levels or something?? I have no idea!!

I guess I'm not too bummed out because as far as I know I'm not infertile, I'm just a little slow eh ;) maybe because I'm canadian.. haha.. anyway, I'm off to lunch and am gonna buy a few opk's!! I want to know if my soft high cp means I'm about to O. If that's the case, my chart has been predicting O later then it should be. Or not. Who knows. hah. I just want to figure myself out!

elainee.. i have no idea what i am ;) i mean, i think maybe the one day where i had the "abundant cm" may have been my O day, but i really dont know. i just know when i should get my period and i think that's all i can do. i usually see ewcm every cycle, but i didnt see any, but i dont know if the robatussin changed that into the abundant cm? i have no clue.
we're done bd'ing - onto just "practicing".. i'm on cd 22 today, (usually a 32-33 day cycle), average ovulation has been anywhere from day 15-18. this month, we bd-ed cd14, 16, 18, 20 and will again tonight and tomorrow for luck haha
i assume i'm in the tww, i just have no idea how many dpo's i am. i guess i have to find out which day i posted i had the abundant cm, and use that as my o-date if that makes sense? opinions on that?
*edit* i started robatussin cd15 and it was cd18 that i noted my cm was more abundant.

I'm ok with my doctor telling me what she thinks, and she also did a blood test to double check. I rather hear her thinking out loud then tell me nothing at all like every other doc I've seen. At least I know which brain wave she's on and if I need to see specialists or whatever, I can let them know what she was thinking. It's not a diagnosis but it helps! I don't know, I didn't mind her telling me. She herself was getting all excited too lol. It was really genuine and I appreciated that. She did also tell me if I wasn't in fact pregnant that the tests that followed would help determine what is actually going on with me. So, regardless, I think it was a win win eventhough I'm not pg yet. Also, I don't stress easily. I stress for a few minutes, at most until I go to sleep.. then I'm fine. I think stressing out is pointless so eventhoguh I do get stressed out, I have a pretty good attitude of looking at things more positively then they really look at that time. I was more frustrated waiting then stressing out.. there really wasn't anything I could do with or without those results and I'm already doing everything I can that's pg safe.
