My husband was speaking with a customer of his who has 3 children thanks to IVF. Took 3 times the first time and they had one child. 4 Years later they implanted 4 embryos that had been frozen and they all took. She had a reduction and had twins. Point of my story is that this guy went to a dr. in NY who is supposedly a DR. who was in the group that did the first ivf in 1978. I think his name is Griffo? or something like that. This guy said that women that had no chance at all were getting preg. including a 50 year old woman. Just wanted to pass that info. along.

The same guy also said that there was a guy they became friendly with who's sperm died as soon as he ejaculated so he had zero sperm. They went in through his back and were able to retrieve sperm without going through the testicles. It was successful and minimal pain. I don't know what it is called but thought it might help you feel better about your situation!!

Yes a hottie and affiited with a program in NJ as well did you see that ? . I will call tomorrow . I do not think NYUIVF takes my health insurance but will double check . My second opinion scheduled for June is with an RE that works out of NYU as well . Money is an issue right now . We have spent so much on meds and an out of pocket IVF would be hard to pull off . We want to adopt if all else fails ( I know that sound horrible there is nothing wrong with adoption )but adoption will run between 10,000 - 20,000 grand as well . We WILL be moms some how some way .
