I hate to bother you with another ?, but I have looked everywhere and
cannot find an answer, my doctor office didn't even know. Okay when I
went to the ER on Sunday, my amalyse and lipase were normal but my alk
phos was 147 normal is (20 - 120) ast - 310 normal is (20) and slt was
355 normal at (20), so we did more labs on Tuesday, and the alk phos
was 187, the ast was 91 and the alt was 256. Hep b and c were fine,
normal, but we also did a Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency test, but they
had to send it to mayo's and have not received results yet. And I have
looked everywhere and I am unable to find out. If anyone ever
had this or can find out how long it takes for results that would be
great. I am tired of waiting and would like to know at least how long I
have to wait.
Or does anyone know what else this could be? I have hereditary pancreatitis, but my amylase and lipase were fine. I am supposed to have a liver biopsy done when all my labs are back and I really hope I don't have to wait too long.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Has anyone experienced this? I am just wondering, I know that you can't offer a medical opinion, I am just wondering what we should do next?

Okay thought I would add some info, since no one has answered. I don't think it could be fatty liver since I had a normal CT and I have never been overdweight. I am 5'7 and weigh 125.
