My very sweet neighbor owns a gymboree gym. Today she called me and said she was doing a mothers day project and the girl that was supposed to help couldn't make and could I help. I said yes and didn't feel any reservations about going. The project was a tote bag with room for 4 pics and we were going to take 1 polaroid at the gym. I was in charge of taking the pics. I have to say that I was fine with being around all the kids. I will say that it is amazing that God gives some of these parents children!!- but that is a whole other story. There was a set of twin girls 15 months who were precious. Dressed the same but 2 different haircuts and boy did they have 2 different personalities. Before going today I was still unsure if I had the energy to do the whole finding a new dr. going through injections, etc but being around the babies gave me some push. My point is that as hard as it is to go to showers, malls etc I think that sometimes it is good to get your drive and ambition and courage back!! Maybe not for some women but I think it would help some that are indecisive about moving on.

It's great that you felt fine around the kids. It's great that you can find the generosity in your heart to be happy for other parents. I think that, whatever happens with your IVF treatment, you and your DH will be happy. You're obviously such lovely people.
DH and I were talking last night and we decided that we WOULD be happy whether or not we could have children. IVF is so exhausting and I'm not sure how many more cycles I could go through if this one doesn't work. We've decided to put our love and trust in each other, and in the families we already have.
What is a gymboree, by the way? I think the UK is too boring to have gyms like this! My local gym is full of "body beautiful" types who make me feel even shorter and chubbier than I already am!
Hope your search for a new RE is going well. Are there many to choose from?
Hugs and thanks for all your kindness in the last few weeks!

Tmerone,
I find the same joy and energy that you mentioned after spending the day with my nieces. (Although, they usually exhaust me first. lol) They are 5, 3-1/2, and 2. It's one of my favorite things to do.
My baby sister will be induced next week. (She has had high blood pressure, and they are going to induce at 38 weeks to avoid toximia.) She is having her first kid and first boy in the family. (I have two younger sisters, and the older of them has three girls.) I'm excited for her, but I don't think I can hold that baby after it's born. I have a feeling I'm going to start balling my head off. I'm going to see her after my IUI today. I have a bag of baby stuff for her that my other sister and I bought at a garage sale. I'm going to talk to her about my feelings so that she understands what is going on if I start crying. I think after the baby outgrows the very young baby stage I'll be O.K. It's the tiny babies that really gets to me. BTW, this sister's pregnancy resulted from clomid.
Have a Great Day!

London Calling,
Gymoboree is a gym for children. They sing songs and there is equipment for them to play on. Babies often learn how to crawl and use their muscles. Alot of interaction between the children and their parents. However, there were alot of nannies there yesterday instead of Moms and Dads.
Mindoo,
I am sure your sister will understand your feelings. There was a 5 week old baby there yesterday and I did feel a little stab in the heart when I saw him. This woman also had 2 other children and by the end of the hour you could tell she was at the breaking point and was very flustered. She was all dressed up and had makeup and hair done for the pic. but I am sure she had a big scotch on the rocks when she got home. LOL, I know it is mean to laugh but it made me feel good. Keep the faith Mindoo.......hopefully one day we will be flustered also!!!
