I actually had a great day with the exception that my internet went down and I had to wait until after DH and I went on our hot dinner date to get it fixed, and by then, well, it was bedtime. It was a great day though, he got me some gorgeous Swiss blue topaz earrings, and some Disney Treasures DVDs, (I'm a big Disney fan). Frozen snicker bars mysteriously appeared in the fridge. :smile: And he took me to The Glass Chimney for dinner, the best restaurant in town, most expensive too, but best food, best bang for your buck! I got a Weinerschnitzel with lingonberries, kind of a sweet little berry from Europe, mighty tasty, not too sweet though. Really good eats! Hey, I can certainly find joy in a good dinner. It was a great birthday, thanks to all of you for thinking of me. Mare, You're thinking of a different weiner, this one is a veal tenderloin pounded really thin and pan fried. Staple of German cuisine. Sometimes they come with different stuff on them, mushrooms, sauces, once DH had eggs, Schnitzel Holstein. Funky, but he enjoyed.
