Hi girls!

I posted not too long ago that the Dollar store near my house was carrying pregnancy tests. Well, I have been reading all of the posts lately and decided to try Robitussin this month. As a stay at home mom of a 2 1/2 year old, I am a perpetual bargain hunter and, if anyone is interested, the Dollar store also carries a generic brand of Robitussin with Guaifenesin as the main ingredient. This has become my favorite store - I love it!!! :-)

I am on the 6th day of my cycle so I guess I will start taking it here soon. At this point I am willing to try anything! After the birth of my daughter, I got pregnant again quickly but had a miscarriage in August 2001. I have been trying to get pregnant ever since and every month it's the same - BFN!!!

I just actively started doing something about it last month starting with an HSG (everything was normal). I go in for a blood test this month 8 days after ovulation. In the meantime, I'm trying Robitussin!!!

Good for you lilly,
Go for it, I tried it for the first time this month too. I took it 2 tsp. 3Xday from day 9, when I finished my Clomid until about 4 days po. I am currently 12dpo and holding high, almost triphasic, I hope...
I didn't notice a big difference, but meanwhile, dh seemed to notice a difference, but that's as graphic as I'll get.
I hope it works for you!!

cathyw,
I hope it happens for you this month too!! I haven't started taking the Robitussin yet but I am only 7 days into my cycle. I'll either start tomorrow or the next day. I'm thinking of you - hope you get your BFP!!!

o.k., I am a little lost here. What does robitussin do? How does it help with infertility?

I must have missed the other posts or something, i have never heard of it but I hope it works for you guys!

Tazink, From what I understand, Robitussin is supposed to thin the cervical mucus making it easier for those sperm to swim! :-) I honestly don't know if there is even a problem with my CM but at this point I am willing to try anything!

lilybug - best of luck to you...I hope it works. I know what you mean...it is so weird right now for me b/c two months ago I had given up adn decided to take a break from all of it and basically had accepted never getting pg again and then bam, I get a light pink line and all of the sudden I am super excited all over again....I am testing again in the morning and hoping for a more definate positive...I sohoudl wait more than 1.5 days to test, but damn, I just can't!
