I didn't think this could happen when you are not injecting IM. Guess I thunk wrong, huh?

I asked the nurse about hitting the vein and she said sometimes it happens when you do subcu. I bled really bad too. Luckily, it happened only once. Do you have a bruise yet??

Hi Gwendolyn - it hurt bad!!! Brought tears to my eyes and the medicine has been stinging me more this cycle. But its just temporary pain, right?! Its all worth it when you look at the possible outcome.

my nurse told me that after you stick it in you to draw back alittle and if theirs blood to stop (hit a vien) and try another spot !! lots of luck !!! You can do it ! baby dust to you BFP!!!!!

I did 2 cycles on injectables this list cycle I used about 43 vials and DH made me bleed on more than one occassion but everything worked out okay for me. If the meds are stinging try putting a little piece of ice where he is going to inject and numb it up a bit and make sure to tell him to inject very slowlyyyyy and that should help. Best of luck to you and like my RE always told me, if you think this is bad wait till your pushing your baby's head out...ouchie *smiles*

Momma, I think DH has hit a vien about every night because it always bleeds a little. We asked the RE if we needed to draw it back to see if we hit a vien and she said not we subq. shots. My meds burn really bad too! and even worse now that they upped it from 2 to 3 vials. The first night was the worse one because DH put the meds in really slow, The RE said that that only prolongs the aggony. So now my DH puts the meds in a little faster and it's over with a lot quicker.
