I had the gall bladder removed 4 yrs back, and i get spasms sometimes severe ones as if the gall bladder was still there.I visted 2 gastroentorologists, to be very honest they dont have an answer,Apart from doing tests and scans the only thing i hear is i have a fatty liver + a small sac of fluid above my kidney which according to them should not be a worry. The fatty liver i came to know is the result of the surgery,i have to take pain killers + spasm control drugs whenever the pain ( spasms ) starts.

hi
i had my gb removed 10 months ago but i am still experiencing pain usually at night, but not exclusively, they feel like a gb attack but dont last as long. i have had an ultrasound which showed nothing wrong and the surgeon has discharged me. i had my gb removed because it was full of stones and chronically inflamed. i know i had adhesions because the surgeon told me after the op. i cant help wondering if they have reformed.

Spasms are usually caused by lack of magnesium in your system at the muscle/cellular level.

A homeopathic remedy is excellent for muscle cramping and spasm--- Magnesia Phos 6X dose is fine and usually affects the spasms in 35 to 45 minutes.
If this works -- you need magnesium as a mineral supplement -- 400mgms daily . Best taken in divided doses instead of all at once. I like and use Chelated Magnesium best for easy absorption.
