Hi,

I'm searching for a calcium supplement I can buy in the UK containing minimal potentially allergenic additives. Any ideas?

The purest form of Calcium is Calcium Citrate.
Its absorbs much better in the body then Calcium Carbonate, or Calcium Oyster Shell.

I have found the best form of any mineral including calcium for absorption is the Chelated type.

Chelated minerals that are bond to a protein amino acid -- glycinate or lycine. It is double bonded and smaller than other type so that is passed through the intestinal wall more readily.
The manufacturer that has the International Patent is Albion Labs.
They sell it to vitamin and mineral companies for distribution.
I have use their products from -- Solgar, Carlson, Kal and other companies.
