when people put on weight does some of the excess fat form in the armpits. i've recently developed what i thought were swollen lymph nodes but the doc says he's not sure if they are or not. is there any way that this swelling in my armpits could be excess fat?

Yes,it could be. I have developed that from weight gain.

Thanks for your answer rita. i've hit the gym and the armpit swelling has gone down some. i appreciate the answer really! i was getting freaked out thinking i had hiv,cancer.....etc.
