Hi-
I have a dark spot right below my thumb nail on the cuticle. It appeared 2 days ago, a bit lighter, now is very dark. It almost looks like a spot of ink. I haven't pushed back my cuticles since Sat/Sun of last week, so I don't think its trauma. Any ideas?

If it is in the nail plate, it could still be from trauma, however slight. Is there a tiny depression where the spot is?

No from looking at pictures on line it looks like the proxima nail fold or eponychium. What I thought was the cuticle.

I don't know about skin disorders, so you may want to see your dermatologist.
