I had my r lung removed 18 months ago. I exercise 3 to 4 times a week lifting weights and lots of streching exercises. I golf. And try to stay active. Regardless of what i do i have considerable difficulty breathing. I often find myself struggling to recover normal breathing, even without exercise. I have copd (under control),asthma (under control),and have finally cleared up all of my allergies. Both my cardiologist and my pulmonary specialist have found no explanation for my breathing problems. My lung capacity is very good considering the circumstances, better tham some people with both lungs. Is this normal? Will my breathing improve with time or do i just consider myself lucky and try to acceptthe possibility that this is good as it is going to be?
