View Full Version : Exertional Headaches?

Does anyone suffer from exertional headaches (also known as sexual headaches)? I recently ended up in the ER after one of these headaches. I had a blood pressure of 199/109 and tachycardia. I thought my head was going to explode. I've had an MRA to make sure the blood vessels are normal and a CT in the ER to make sure there wasn't a tumor to worry about. I see two Neurologists and both of them say it's part of my occipital neuralgia and autonomic dysfunction. Doesn't help me one bit. I have a right sided headache every day which gets worse as the day goes on. It centers around my right eye and ear and the base of my skull. I've had 30 trigger point injections from my shoulder to the top of my head. They usually will work for about 3 months. Didn't work at all this time (actually, it's worse). I won't take narcotics so I just live on Tylenol. Does anyone see a headache specialist?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
hognfrog
