Hi I am 48 years old I am aware Dilantin can really play a toll with your body but I was at the hospital lastnight for almost twelve hours and i went there thinking with all my problems they would tell me I was having a gallbladder attach.....instead they did all kinds of test bloodwork etc and the only thing that showed was spots on my liver.....Then I read that dilantin goes straight to the liver well needless to say I had already been warned by a doctor that dilantin wasn't good for me but I can't afford the other meds i have no insurance... so where do I turn now??????????

Bev,
I'm sorry to hear the news.
But if you have NO coverage for medicene of any kind-there are programs that can help you. There are PAP programs that can help you-talk with your Dr's office too-some are really kind and will help you.
I have basic insurance-but no coverage for meds-too expensive.
Check the web for these programs.
