hey girls ......... I am going to be taking this new Brevella injections in july and I have follistim and repronex left over ---------- has anyone taken them together ------ Brevella and Follistim --- or -----
Brevella and Repronex. I am going to ask my doctor But I am on this Study program for Brevella and they are going to say no -- don't take together because of the program --- (the program is paying for half of my IVF ) But ofcourse we will pump yourselves up with anything if it gives us a better chance..........
so what do you think ---- do it or not !!! I'll listen to my girl's http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif By the time we are all finish --- we could all be specialist in infertility !! ha !!!

I would not do it. I too will be taking Bravelle. I noticed that alot of RE mix follitism and repronex or gonal-r. But everyone I know so far taking bravelle only takes that and nothing else. There must me a reason. Anyway that is my 2 cents worth.

I agree with Boundi, I wouldn't mix it. I'm on 2 amps of Bravelle days 3-14. I only have two side effects one bad: horrible migraines; and one good: weight gain. I will let you know if my foll. size improves after next dr appt.

I am pretty sure that Follistim and Bravelle are both follicle stimulating meds so taking both could be dangerous. I had some meds left over from my last cycle and I donated them to the RE's office. This way if there is someone who is going through infertility and cannot afford the meds they will donate them to that person. I figure it was a good deed and I am sure there is someone in need out there. Good luck Skysam!!

thanks..., you are all right --- it would be dangerous. Folllistim and Bravelle is basically the same. The lady that did my ultrasould yesterday said that I could problably take Repronex with it.
tmerone....,
That is a wonderful thought to donation the rest of your med to the RE..... you will be bless for it !
boundi and navy.. please let me know how the bravelle is working for you... lot of luck !!

The Bravelle has helped me to produce a lot of foll.; but we aren't sure how well they are growing. Day 8 my largest was 10, Day 10 my largest was 10.5; I go back on Saturday to see what is going on. (I think the not growing is what is causing my infertility). The side effects are not too bad. Tonight will be my 9th shot in a row and my stomach is getting a little sore, but the injections aren't that bad as long as you massage the injection site to break up the medicine. Good luck, hopefully Bravelle is all you need for that BFP!!

Did I add right? That make 21 follies. And you still have a few days to go for them to mature. Wow!!! Your doing great. I take it your doing IVF. Keep us up to date.
