I have had very odd poop off and on for the past year or so. I have also been diagnosed with GERD, so I don't know if the two are related, but I thought I'd mention it.
I rarely have completely solid poops, they are mostly loose and sometimes of the liquid-type. About once a week I get a strange type where it looks like I passed a bunch of popcorn kernels.
I also suffer from nausea, fatigue, and arthritis. Could this be parasites?
I was wondering if anyone knew what the heck the problem is, because I sure as heck don't.

Yes, I know what you are talking about. I've had this problem for years. I call them goat poo, because goats poo out little balls. I have acid reflux which is another name for GERD and a hiatal hernia. I also suffer from nausea, I've found out when I eat beans which is high in fiber, I don't have this problem. You might want to find out the different foods which contain lots of fiber. Try this out and see do you find any relief. Good luck!

You might want to get it checked out (stool sample + Blood workups). It could be many things-- autoimmune disease, malabsorption, inflammatory diarrhea, motility-related diarrhea, IBD, Dysentery, Infectious Diarrhea, Medications, IBS, alcohol, osmotic diarrhea, Bowel cancer, Bile salt diarrhea, Celiac disease, Intestinal Protozoa, and more.
Best thing to do is, instead of adding fiber (can cause more problems if you have any of majority of the listing above), go get yourself checked. It is never good to ignore this if it has been happening for 6+ more months.
**you're not the only one that didn't bring this to notice for quite some time. I just finally notified my doc and she's worried and wants me to come in, in a week from now.**
good luck
