I was in Indonesia when symptoms first appeared, leading me to believe it was some sort of parasite, but now I'm not sure. It's been an awful six months, and I just can't function normally anymore.

Here are my symptoms in order of occurrence:

Nausea
Excessive burping
Lower back pain
Frontal Headaches, occurring daily, often after meals
Anemia
Brain Fog
Blood in stool
Neck Stiffness and Pain
Overly Emotional/Anxious
Tingling/Numbness in feet and face

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hi Appart from the burping and blood in stool (which you should get checked out) I would say your symptoms sound like fibromyalgia, i have that and it can come on suddenly or gradualy after a virus the symptoms are unexplained pains, headaches, IBS, anxiety, brain fog, tirdenss, tingling in hands feet.

But they could also be other illnesses, i think its best to get checked out if you have had it for 6 months, esp the blood in stools, have you had this for 6 months ? if so you really should get it checked a.s.a.p.

good luck

I've had alot of the same symptoms. Nausea, back pain , brain fog, anemia, daily headaches, anxious and the tingling around the mouth and muscle weakness and pain. Had alot of blood tests done which showed low calcium, slightly low magnesium , low sodium and very low potassium. A 24 hour urine test showed severe potassium loss. My dr. wanted me to see a kidney dr. and turns out I have a problem with my kidneys letting go of too much potassium especially and other electrolytes. The tingling in the face around the mouth especially is what cued the dr. into what was wrong with me. I'm on medication now but it could take awhile before I start to feel better. You may not have the same thing but it's worth a trip to the dr. and get some blood tests.
