I recently replaced the tires on my SUV with Goodyear ComforTred tires and the difference is noticeable. They don't magically make the ride perfect. However, a certain speed bump that I used to have to slow down to literally 1-2 mph in order to manage, I can now take at about 11-12 mph. There is also a bumpy road that driving it once used to put me in pain for several days (even despite medication). Shortly after getting the new tires, I was able to drive this same road three days in a row and the same dose of medication was enough to control the pain.

FWIW, I have bulging discs at L5-S1 and L3-L4 and DGD throughout.
