Well I have been on an HRT 10 years and decided myself to just stop taking it so that is what I did ...it doesn't matter to me what the side effects are I just will deal with them as them come up. I had last year tried to ween of it but I always found a reason that I just couldn't do it for whatever withdrawal I felt but this year I just stopped on my own cold turkey and I just ignore anything that seems to be a withdrawal feeling. I'm tired of taking the pill...it costs money and I'm just tired of taking it. My Mother stopped taking Premarin after taking it a few years in after a complete hysterectomy in her 50's she is now 95 and her bones are fine. If you stay active there is no reason to believe you will suffer bone loss. She isn't running races but she still keeps up her 3 bedroom home and weeds the flower garden. I have other medical issues so I couldn't tell you if I am having withdrawals or just other symptoms of other things so for me I am done taking an HRT. good luck to you.
