tmerone 05-02-2003, 11:25 PM Good idea Mindoo!! Whenever I feel like a loser I can look at this list and know there is hope! Just so damn hard sometimes. AF is here and although I am happy because now I can start a new cycle I am sad that I wasted all those follies on a cancelled cycle...too many margaritas tonight. They made me sad..boo hoo.
tazink 05-03-2003, 12:10 AM Mindy - I am hoping and praying that I am added to your list. I am testing first thing in the morning and you can bet that besides DH, you gals will be the first to know! I know that I haven't been on here much lately since I have been taking my "break" from all the drugs but believe me, you gals are my inspiration and I think about all of you all the time. I pray all the time that every woman that wants a child and can't have one, get's one. It is so unfair that there are so many unwanted children in the world and than those who want one most can't have them.
Thanks for thinking of me, it made my day http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

gsjjs1 05-03-2003, 02:39 PM I had 4 eggs over 1.5 and a zillion smaller ones (PCOS). The day I had the HCG shot I had a 1.8 and 2 at 1.7 and 1 at 1.6.
Don't give up...at age 36 I had 8 or 9 unsuccessful IUI's with Clomid, however, the first IUI I had with Clomid/Glucophage/HCG worked.
JodyC 05-03-2003, 04:48 PM Nice idea. I am 31, ttc for 2 years, fellow PCOSer. I conceived on my third monitored cycle with the RE - and my first cycle with injectibles.
1500 mg / day of gluchophage, 75 ml of follistim / day for 10 days, shot of Ovidrel (HCG) to ovulate. Three follicules, one precious little heartbeat. We did timed intercourse, once the day before HCG (I thought I was ovulating naturally), once 12 hours after HCG, once 36 hours after HCG, and again for good measure the next day http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
Mindoo 05-07-2003, 10:54 PM Added R_bis to list. Congrats R_bis http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif

Colleywobbles24 05-21-2003, 01:47 PM I am 24 and TTC for 2 years, I have PCOS and do not ovulate on my own.
Cycle #1 150mg of Clomid with 1 shot of Repronex, I didn't produce any follicles. Failed
Cycle #2 4amps daily of Follistim for 7 days, produced 9 mature follicles and tried timed intercourse. Failed due to DH being very sick and we found out later that the meds swell my ovaries enough to tilt my uterus making it hard for the swimmers. Failed
Cycle #3 8amps Gonal F for 3 days, 4 amps Gonal-F for 6 days with 3 shots of Antagon to delay ovulation. Had 7 mature follicles on day of IUI and 30 million motile sperm. Currently 9w4d with twins.
It CAN and DOES happen, just believe in all possibilities. Best of Luck Ladies.

Mindoo 05-27-2003, 11:17 PM http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bouncing.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif Congrats http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif Tryingfor5 http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bouncing.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif
I read in the other post that you had been doing herbs and natural progesterone cream. I'm about the same age as you - 36. And this year, we might do one more IUI cycle and that's it. There won't be money for IVF until next year. I'm thinking about trying herbs after my final IUI next month (if it turns out the same way as the others.)
What was you diagnosis? PCOS, endo, blocked tubes, other? Did you have a male factor involved?
Thanks,
Mindy
P.S. BTW, I'm trying the 'Relax' approach this month. lol. No drugs, u/s, ODK, no doctors. Just a lot of good old fashion bd. lol
Mindoo 05-28-2003, 06:41 PM http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gifCongrats Holleigh http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif
There was an interesting philosphy on another thread about these things happening in 3s. Who's testing tomorrow? I hope I can add another tomorrow.

I wanted to make sure that everything was OK before I added you. I was worried about causing you extra distress. I'm very glad http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/biggrin.gif to hear that everything is well with you, and I'll keep praying for a care-free, healthly nine months for you.
Mindy
