i have been with my bf for 5 years and now hes breaking out with soemthing so would it mean that he cheated on me or could have been with someone before me

Don't jump the gun. You don't know what he is breaking out with. First get the facts. If it is herpes it is possible he had it before he met you...but I'd still be very suspicious.
