Hi everyone! I am back from my one month break! It was so great to take I break. I have been checking in and keeping my eye on all of you. Tommorow is CD5 for me so I start the clomid for the final time. I HATE that drug. Can't wait for this cycle to be over. My IUI will be around June 21st should have my answer by 4th of July as I head out the door for vacation. If this fails I am going on to IVF. Good luck to all those in the 2ww I will be joining you shortly.

Nice to hear from you. Welcome back from your rest and good luck this month! Did your RE tell you should go straight to IVF? I am surprised he doesnt want to do injectibles with IUI first. I only took clomid one time for my cct test and it did not agree with me at all!!

hey Lisa, I was sorry to hear about you BFN. I read about it later. I see you are having a lap done soon- I will be thinking of you.

Tmerone-I am moving on to IVF because hubby and I want to and my RE thinks it is best. Basically he told me this since I am responding really well to clomid going to injectables won't help that much more. On clomid I am ovulating up to 3 mature eggs. With clomid I have a 12-15% chance each month. On injectables my odds go to 14-18%. So it if I do injectables 3 times at $3000-$5000 I might as well do 1 IVF which will give me a 40-50% chance plus they can tell if my eggs are not good or if DH sperm can't penatrate the eggs. For us we feel it makes the most sense. We are not getting any youger. I will be 37 in aug, DH will be 43 in dec. So this last round of clomid w/IUI is for the heck of it. We may get lucky- Third times a charm!! It feels good to know I have a plan in place should it fail. But I would welcome a GREAT BIG FAT POSITIVE on the 4th of JULY. That would be cause for FIREWORKS!!

Teener ~ Welcome back. You will be 2ww with ams and me. I am cycle day 6 today. I am still on my break from all the meds but I won't give up trying!

Tazink- I am cycle day 5 today so we are almost on the exact same cycle day. Are you just trying naturally this month? I started clomid today thru day 9 and then I go in on CD13 for monitoring to set up IUI. I also am monitoring at home. Good luck.
