HI Tmerone.
I just read your post about your Dr's appt yesterday.
Dr trying to talk you out of IVF or into using doner eggs. I know you are upset . Recently I have been doing a lot of reading on a board for 40 + with high FSH . Most of the women on this board go to see a Dr Check at the Cooper in vitro center which I think is in New Jersey . He supposedly works with a lot of high FSH paitents. . I have no Idea of the clinics success rates but his name is always mentioned . It might be worth looking into since you are a Jersey girl . Did you see the program on channel 13 the other night "15 ways to make a baby ?" - the Dr Grifo you recommended was in it . Seems like an amazing Dr and a true scientist + pioneer in the field . Yesterday was supposed to me my second opinion consult that I waited almost 2 months for my appointment . I called yesterday AM to double check the address and they told me that they had no record of my appointment ! I was really pissed off but proud of myself that I did not totally freak out + lose it on the nurse . We rescheduled for a week from Monday . I am going on vacation next week and my appointment is scheduled for the Monday when I get back . The timing stinks cause AF may show that week as well postponing things yet 1 more cycle . I guess its a sign from up above to not freak out + rush things . Good luck Tmer - look up Dr Check + see if he sounds like he might be right for you . Hope your HSG goes well and is pain free.

Thanks Old Flo

I will do some research after the gym today. I am still a little bummed but I figured I have to go for it anyway. That way I can never look back and say I didn't try! I can't believe your appt was never there!! that sux! I always take things like that as a sign and glad you do too. Keep me updated!!

I can totally relate .
I do not want to look back in a few years and have regrets . I want to feel I have done what ever is in my power to do . I am starting to gather up adoption paper work + do futher research.
I am still doing acupuncture once a week which I really enjoy + have a lot of faith in . I actually want a few months of acupuncture + herbs under my belt before going to RE cause the acupuncturist wants my blood work + DH SA redone to see what progress we are making . I'm sure my insurance is not going to cover the tests unless ordered by an RE. What time is your HSG today ?
